What is Udorami?

Udorami (Yoo-dorr-ah-mee)

“Dora” is the Greek word for gifts. The word literally means “Gifts between you and me,” in Greekish.  Udorami lets you and your friends share collections of products and ideas. It’s a free list-making service that we hope will make gift buying and collaborative projects just a little easier. See more

How do I add an item to a list?

You can add items to your lists either by using the  Udorami – Add Item button while browsing the web, or by using the “Add Item” button  while viewing your list. List items can be anything from products to ideas. See more.

How do I assign a Circle to a List?

Every time you create a list, you assign a circle during the process. See example below:assign circle

  1.  There is a pulldown menu under Circle. Initially it says “Public”. It will contain your available Circle names as choices. Select it and voila your list belongs to that Circle.
  2. Please note that you are given three choices from the beginning, Public, All My Friends, and Just Me. These are self explanatory, we hope.
  3. As you create circles, your choices expand.
  4. If you need to edit the circle assigned to the list, then go to the list and select the blue pencil. Make and save your changes

That’s it!

Do I Buy The Gift From Udorami?

No. Udorami is just a place to collect items into a list. Once on the list you may click on the buy/view icon to go back to the original site, but you won’t actually purchase the gift through Udorami. Instead, you’ll use the information provided in your friend’s wish list to help you decide how to best purchase the item – and when and where to give it to them, of course.

How do I set up a profile picture?

Your account picture or “avatar” is an image that represents you online—a little picture that appears next to your name when you interact with websites. We use Gravatars that are associated with your email address.

A Gravatar is a Globally Recognized Avatar. You upload it and create your profile just once, and then when you participate with Udorami or any other Gravatar-enabled site, your Gravatar image will automatically follow you there.
Gravatar is a free service for site owners, developers, and users. It is a service that is run and supported by Automattic, the people who bring you WordPress. To set up your own Gravatar just follow the directions at this link.
